New Markets Support Tip Sheet and Webinar
When emergencies disrupt markets, crisis affected people may be unable to cover their needs or access labor or a source of income.
In partnership with our Markets Working Group, and with extensive testing and design support from Catholic Relief Services (CRS), CaLP launches a tip sheet for Market Support Interventions in Humanitarian Contexts.
This tip sheet defines what market support programming in humanitarian contexts is, and what it can look like in practice. It enables humanitarian practitioners to systematically consider market support interventions alongside other programme activities. The scope includes support interventions focusing on supply/availability and on demand/access. The tip sheet is based on secondary data collation, interviews with humanitarian practitioners, and existing standards.

On 19 July, we will host a webinar with the SEEP Network to introduce the tip sheet and share tips and tricks from the community of practice.
